Pipe Identification System

In order to justify the high quality goals of Kalup, a computerized system, PIS (Pipe Identification System), has been implemented in the factory in order to increase the capability of tracing the produced pipes and access the exact production history of every single pipe.

In this system, pipe data is recorded in each production station, and, through an Ethernet based network, is summarized in the main server station. This station can provide the history of each pipe produced, back to the mother coil and the heat number it came from.
With this system in place, the customer can have the summary of each pipe at any time that it is necessary, and, can therefore, be confident in terms of the production procedure.
