Kalup Quality Policy
Kalup Co. has been established in 1982 with the aim of manufacturing steel pipes and providing water pipes and walls of well with electric resistance welding (ERW) method and diameters of 6-8-10-12 & 14 inches. With the increasing demand of oil & gas industries in Iran for steel pipes based on PSL2 and API5LQ1 (IPS) standards, after consulting with domestic and international experts, this company implemented the project of developing Kalup Co. for increasing the quality and quantity of products and meeting the needs of oil & gas and petrochemical industries; and in 2003 this company raised its annual production capacity to 240,000 tons in two working shifts.
Based on this, the policy of Kalup Co. is increasing the quality of products and meeting the needs of customers and also increasing the customer-satisfaction through establishing ISO 9001-2008 quality management system; and also through API5LQ1 (IPS). Kalup Co. has established its policies based on the main following axes and it has committed itself to effectively implement these policies:
- Improving the quality of products through providing equipment, monitoring and proper measurement by the use of modern technologies.
- Systematic reduction of costs through minimizing repairs and unplanned stops in the programs and making efforts for reducing waste.
- Developing the range of activities and reaching the trans-regional and international markets.
- Increasing the customer-satisfaction by effectively carrying out the obligations related to the contracts.
- Conducting ongoing customer surveys and paying attention to their comments, complaints and providing appropriate answers to them.
- Using appropriate tools such as periodic review in order to ensure the appropriate installation of these tools; and also continuous development and improvement of quality management system and qualitative performance of Kalup CO.
- Using experienced human resources and promoting their knowledge through continuous educational sessions.
- Increasing the satisfaction of oil & gas and petrochemical industries through establishing API5LQ1 standard.
In order to match the above mentioned policy with objectives and strategic planning of Kalup Co. this policy is regularly reviewed; and the management always controls the procedures and qualitative monitoring plans for preventing from any deviation from the goals and provisions of this policy. Since the above mentioned goals are only accomplished through taking responsibility, cooperation, empathy, knowledge and scientific development of all personnel, thus the management of Kalup Co. has tried to provide the personnel with this policy and also with the required information to be fully comprehended by all personnel.
